The Serious Incident Management Team serves as a highly responsive panel of senior staff within IPB that addresses serious incidents concerning our Members and clients. The panel provides advice, support and on-site attendance for Members experiencing a serious incident relating to professional and workplace risks such as serious injuries or fatalities, data protection breaches, environmental impairment and child safeguarding issues, among others.

The panel expertise consists of senior professionals in corporate and operational risk management, client relationships, legal advisory, underwriting, claims and marketing communications as well as forensic engineers and loss adjusters. The expertise is immediately made available when emergencies arise and is a unique offering provided by IPB that is highly valued by Members who have had need to access this service.
