Eddie is a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland and the Insurance Institute of Ireland. He has served as a councillor since 2019, when he was elected to Galway City Council, and served as Mayor of Galway City from 2023 to 2024. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. He works with his own family practice, Hoare Chartered Accountants, and has over 15 years of practice experience, working closely with a large portfolio of clients to provide audit and corporate advisory services.
