Credit rating

IPB Insurance is a Standard & Poor’s rated insurer with excellent financial strength and is well capitalised. Our overriding objective is to devise a business model themed on sustainability and built on our proud heritage anchoring our Members at the core of the mutual.

In November 2021 Standard & Poor’s reaffirmed IPB’s rating of A- (stable), continuing to note that IPB’s capital adequacy is within the ‘AAA’ range.

Members’ Satisfaction Survey

The findings of the 2020-2021 Members Satisfaction Survey were published in Spring 2021 by Irish agency, B2B Research. The overall satisfaction score was 96%. Members scored IPB highest for ‘Quality of Advice’ provided (100%), ‘Responsiveness’ and ‘Understanding the sector’ (both 99%).
