IPB was invited to join a panel discussion as part of Climate Finance Week 2023.  Frank Kavanagh, Director of Underwriting, joined the panel in the CBI on Friday 24 November to discuss ‘Braving The Storm – Solving For Today To Protect For Tomorrow with Insurance Ireland and EY.  The discussion focussed on empowering senior executives and C-suites to put climate finance regulation and compliance on the map, understand where it sits in the wider context and navigate the path forward.  The panel addressed climate’s place in organisational priorities. The conversation delved into the transformation of insurers’ underwriting fabric, the sectors’ leadership through product innovation, and the challenges of balancing affordability and customer journey transformation.
